ALTADENA / CHANEY TRAIL / REMODEL

This project was a gut renovation of a 1930s greek revival style home in Altadena. While undergoing a complete remodel, updating and modernizing the home, we worked to preserve the charm and character of the original home and carriage house.

Situated on two acres in an old olive grove in the foothills of Altadena, we added new brickwork and broken concrete walls to compliment the existing hardscape. Because the original wood siding on the home exterior was not available for the carriage house restoration, we used cement board siding materials - they match well and provide fire resistance.

Update: After the Eaton fire, this modernized historic Altadena home is fortunate enough to still be standing.
