FRAMING

We reframed the rotten exterior walls of this Glassel Park Modern house with an opening for 8' double doors. The owner gave us his rendering ins sketchup and we went to work making it a reality. On the inside we shored up the structure with temporary walls and surgically replaced a 6x6 post and it's equally massive 45 degree brace. Both had rotted at the base, leaving the house precariously unsupported.

Currently, we are building a deck outside the new door opening with staircases that lead up the hillside to the front of the house.
